Best wishes for Benny's speedy recovery-our mighty Shiner has epilepsy so his diet is insanely strict-because if we change the salt even alittle bit we can help cause a seizure. He had an upset tummy a week ago and when I normally would have made him rice and chicken, I felt too terrified to do so incase I made a crummy situation much much worse. Luckily, he's completely fine now. Anyways I too would 1000% buy a Martha Stewart dog cookbook.

Thank you so much, Rachel! It's really so tough to figure out and an added burden—but worth it for them! I really do hope Martha gets on the dog food cookbook idea... it'd be HUGE!

I loved this article on feeding your dog . . . though I am not a dog owner. But my beloved younger sister is a dog owner and she (my sister) has recently been diagnosed with lymphoma. There is a lot here she can relate to and I'm going to send this piece to her.

When Otis came home from the e-vet after almost dying of parvo he was on the bland diet for like 3 months. It was the first time I’d cooked beef or chicken in years and I remember being so grossed out. But he went wild for it and slowly regained all the weight he’d lost. I hope Benny’s appetite stays strong. Sending you guys love ❤️

Oh lorrrrd, it's so weird! I had time to think about it and will do anything for the dog, so I found it not as gross as I imagined... except for the bones... and the fact that I see chickens walking around all the time is making me feel like a murderer! But, I guess that's life. Thank you so much!
