Really loved this. Don't think I saw an actual avocado until I was in college. Was expecting an EXPLOSION of flavor when I tried it first but then it was just... fairly good? But I'm really gripped by this idea that I should absolutely love it. For some reason it's now turned into a psychological canary in the coal mine forme; when I'm able to buy avocados and make some avo toast loaded with some veggies or 'everything bagel' seasoning, things feel relatively stable and 'put together'. I'm helplessly and annoyingly millennial when it comes to this....
Right? Avocado holds such a random and strange place in our psyches as folks who didn’t grow up with them. I love them in some preparations; I couldn’t care less if I never ate one again. But when they’re there, I’m like, “ooooh don’t mind if I do” lol
