Advice I wished I learned years ago trying to make Tofurkey taste more exciting: since the holiday is made up, just make a lasagna for thanksgiving. This is good advice for you turkey eaters too. Everyone loves baked pasta. Embrace your inner Garfield and just make a lasagna for your centerpiece.

Every year around this time, I make a mushroom lentil loaf which serves as the centerpiece for our meal during the holidays. I have been making it for over 10 years and I am always excited to taste a new version of it. The last time I made it, I took it a step further and made a Mushroom Lentil Wellington. This year, I will make it a loaf. I wish I made it more often. I am not sure why I only make it during the holidays. It's such a comforting dish.

This sounds sooo good! And so much better than turkey! I did so many Wellingtons last year—it’s something I wanna perfect one day.
