I haven’t lived in New York for very many years (24!) but recently also found solace in its public transportation as I landed in JFK and took the AirTrain to the subway to another subway to the Metro North. I miss this.
This was interesting! As for recipes, I assume most people make soup, or bake cake! However, perhaps a dish of chicken in white wine, with prosciutto, and some water chestnuts might be very Autumnal!
