I’m all for new and different takes on cooking and writing and writing about cooking. For me, all three are therapy integral to creativity. This book is now on my Christmas wish list!
Also: Thrifty. That’s definitely a story that must be told! Took me back to the late 80s when I first moved from a little island in Maine to the beaches of SoCal. Everything there was bigger, and new and different, too. Including drugstore ice cream.
