Love being part of this little community-- engaging with, learning from and being inspired by so much and so many around the world. Thank you for creating this space!
I do love being a (at times inactive) member of this community. I’ve met so many other writers on here through you that made me stick around and continue writing and not feeling so alone
I am so grateful for your newsletter and feel lucky to have found your work early on, it's been an invaluable source of thought-provoking reads, a delight to participate in the book clubs (although sometimes I haven't been able to get the books, but that's another story), and just wanted to say, thank you for creating this corner of the internet where people can read interesting, well-researched essays and where the audience is respectful and knowledgeable.
"The Salons, the Book Club, the Discord—they’re a neighborhood bar you can pop into when you feel like finding an invigorating (or silly!) chat and some inspiration." - this is exactly how they feel. I love it so much and never thought I'd be so lucky and find something so exactly like what I've long craved. Of course I wish so much many of us us gather in person and see what that's like (I think it would be the most fun ever, imagine sharing a meal) but this online hub and availability means it's with me wherever I am, both literally/physically in the world and emotionally! Thank you for how you're using your position - that you so impressively made for yourself- to make sure there are lots of us who now feel less alone and more connected to fun, to the things that interest us, to other people all over the world. It's the internet in its ideal perfect form.
